Brussels, 27 April 2023 – WESTPOLE Benelux, an IT services and hybrid solutions provider for the digital transformation, has appointed Bertrand Launay as General Manager and introduces its management team. WESTPOLE was acquired in March 2023 by Prodware, a French group specialised in implementing ERP and CRM solutions, among others.
Bertrand Launay is the new General Manager of WESTPOLE Benelux. He joined Prodware as Chief Revenue Officer in early 2022. He will report directly to the CEO of Prodware Group and is a member of the Executive Board.
Prior to joining the Prodware Group, Bertrand Launay worked for 19 years at Microsoft in international management roles. He won several prestigious Microsoft Awards. Before then, Bertrand Launay held key IT posts at IBM, NEC, HP, Sage and in various distribution channels. He also has a broad experience of sales and marketing.
Bertrand is French, and enjoys spending his spare time on philanthropic projects (he owns a farm producing ethical mangos in Brazil and he is the main sponsor of an orphanage in Nepal). He likes travelling and is keen on amateur sport, having for example run several marathons.
He operates as General Manager of WESTPOLE Benelux, alongside overseeing Prodware’s commercial expansion.
Independence and new synergies
“WESTPOLE Benelux continues to function as a wholly separate entity,” said Bertrand Launay, the new General Manager of WESTPOLE. “Thanks to the merger of Prodware Group and WESTPOLE Benelux, both specialised in the digital transformation, new synergies can be produced, since the two groups are highly complementary. The sales teams of the two companies already collaborate closely. Together, they offer a wider range of services plus the possibility to call a single point of contact, enabling both companies’ customers to manage fewer providers,” he concluded.
WESTPOLE Benelux: new General Manager and internal promotions
To support this new synergy, the management of WESTPOLE Benelux has changed internally. They will be headed by Bertrand Launay, the new General Manager of WESTPOLE Benelux.
